Our Mission

Financial Help For People and Growing Communities of Nigeria

Founded in February 2022 by Chief Michael Ifeanyi Okoye, Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church Drama Club Foundation is a non profit organization aimed at alleviating poverty in underprivileged and underserved communities in Nigeria.

Our mission is simple…S.J.C.C. won’t stop until every family is healthy, educated, protected, and respected.

Since inception, over 100 families have benefited from the foundation through its numerous empowerment and intervention programs, including but not limited to the awarding of scholarships, financial aid, and healthcare costs.

SJCC has also supported families and local communities by providing financial assistance to petty traders, providing collateral free, soft loans to entrepreneurs in collaboration with a major Fintech startup in Nigeria.

We are lifting one another to greatness at S.J.C.C.!

If you are looking for a way to contribute to making the world a better place, you can help support our good cause.

Meet Those Who Are In Need

Hundreds of thousands of elderly people are in need of different types of care and attention. Many of them require long-term care, ranging from food, shelter, healthcare, washing, cooking, cleaning, clothing, dressing, medicine, healthcare, and attention.

After decades of struggling, many of them are still struggling to survive without the basic things of life. Without care, many will continue to struggle to their grave.

The S.J.C.C. foundation and its partners are providing direct and indirect humanitarian care to elderly people in shelters and in their homes. We help with their day-to-day domestic activities, materials, and cash donations.

Meet "Enobong"

Three year old “Enobong” was a very lively girl, but now she is very sick. She no longer goes to school.

Doctors said she is suffering from kidney-cancer.

Following a series of chemotherapy, little Enobong is set to undergo a second surgery in less than six months. this time, the surgery is to get her affected kidney removed.

Cancer and Kidney conditions affects both old and young around the world. It is not easy for families anywhere to go through all of this alone. It is more difficult in countries like Nigeria where even the poor must pay directly out of their empty pockets for medical care and emergencies.

“She has been a strong girl…She will come out in victory,” says her mother, Idara.

Through your support, SJCC Foundation is doing the little we can to make this happen and we are leaving the rest in the hands of God the Almighty.
